Full Description
PROBABLE NEOLITHIC CROPMARK LONG BARROW. {1}
THIS LONG BARROW IS SITUATED ON A VALLEY FLOOR, AND IS ALIGNED NNW-SSE, WITH ITS LONG AXIS TRAVERSING THE CONTOURS. IT IS A SHORT TRAPEZIFORM ENCLOSURE WITH CONVEX TERMINALS. THE SITE LIES ON THE WEST PERIPHERY OF THE MULTI- PERIOD CROPMARK LANDSCAPE WITH STRONG EARLY PREHISTORIC RITUAL ELEMENT, INCLUDING A MULTIPLE PIT ALIGNMENT (See 33382). {2}{8}, LENGTH 22M, WIDTH 12M, HTM 67M
