PRN 34780
ON OCTOBER 26 1978, ROMANO-BRITISH GREYWARE, NENE VALLEY, SAMIAN (INCLUDING A STAMPED BASE), ROOF, FLOOR AND FLUE TILES AND SEVERAL RIMS OF MORTARIA (NENE VALLEY AND CREAM). THE FIELD SLOPES TOWARDS THE EAST AND THE SOIL VARIES FROM LIGHT SAND TO HEAVY LOAM. THE SITE WAS FIELDWALKED BY THE LENTON, BITCHFIELD AND BASSINGTHORPE LOCAL HISTORY GROUP AND EXTENDS OVER ABOUT 2 ACRES. {1}
