Full Description
A large assemblage of Romano-British metal artefacts have been reported to Stamford Museum, as having been found in this area to the north-east of Market Deeping. The exact findspots of the artefacts are not known, and it is unclear whether this represents a single concentration or a more general spread of material. The assemblage appeared to be of mostly 1st and 2nd century AD date, and was largely comprised of brooches. {1}{2}
