Full Description
A series of banks and ditches were recorded in the woods during a site visit. There is one sizable bank extending from the southern boundary towards the centre of the wood. There are some external banks and ditches but these were only evident alongside the north-eastern boundary. {1}
An area of woodland (all of which is classified as plantation) included in the Nature Conservancy Council's 'Inventory of Ancient Woodland'. Ancient woodland status considered to be probable. {2}
