Full Description
CROPMARKS OF 6 PITS AND A SMALL SQUARE ENCLOSURE TO THE NORTH OF A LARGER RECTANGULAR ENCLOSURE (PRN 33484) AND NORTHEAST OF A PIT ALIGNMENT. THE SQUARE ENCLOSURE APPEARS TO HAVE AN ENTRANCE GAP AT THE SOUTHEAST AND IS ALIGNED NORTH-EAST BY SOUTH-WEST AND NORTH-WEST BY SOUTH-EAST. POSSIBLE SQUARE BARROW? DESTROYED BY GRAVEL WORKING IN 1960s OR EARLY 1970s. PART OF AN EXTENSIVE CROPMARK COMPLEX OF ENCLOSURES, TRACKWAYS, FIELD BOUNDARIES, PIT ALIGNMENTS AND RING DITCHES. {1}, LENGTH 20M, WIDTH 20M
