Full Description
Site of Dowsby Decoy. Dowsby had a famous decoy long since destroyed. It belonged to the Rev. Thomas Foster, of Ryhall and from 1 October 1765 to 1 April 1766, 13,180 ducks were taken. {1}
In the area of Old Decoy Farm, marked on Ordnance Survey maps at TF130297. {2}{3}
