AN ANGLO SAXON HAIR PIN OF EITHER THE 9TH OR 10TH CENTURY FOUND DURING BUILDING WORK IN BILLINGBOROUGH. {1}
The pin has a silver shaft and silver gilt globular head with filligree decoration. It was found with a Saxon cruciform brooch.{2}
