PRN 33979 see also 33994 and33969 AN AREA OF CROPMARKS TO THE SOUTH OF GREATFORD CUT, PART OF A LARGER COMPLEX WHICH EXTENDS INTO ADJOINING FIELDS ON ALL SIDES. CROPMARKS INCLUDE A NORTHEAST-SOUTHWEST TRACKWAY OR POSSIBLE LINEAR BOUNDARY (PRN 33332) WITH A POSSIBLE BRANCH RUNNING ROUGHLY NORTH-SOUTH, RING DITCHES (PRN 33980, 33983, 33986, 33990), RATHER IRREGULAR CURVILINEAR FIELD BOUNDARIES, POSSIBLE ENCLOSURES, TRACKWAYS AND PITS. POSSIBLY PART OF A SETTLEMENT WITH ASSOCIATED FIELD SYSTEM, TRACKWAYS AND ROUND BARROWS. {1}{2}{3} MAPPED BY RCHM IN 1960 IN 'A MATTER OF TIME'. {4}~
