Full Description
Many Romano-British coins have been found in the parish of Wyville. One is a perfect Constantine. On the farm where it was found quantities of refuse from iron smelting have been found. The current occupants of the farm have no knowledge of Romano-British finds. Slag was found at SK88942916 (see 33947) but may be from a kiln rather than a furnace. {1}{2}{3}
