Full Description

Close to the E of the church stood the manor house, built of Limestone with Colyweston slated roof, dated 1586 on W chimney stack. Had well proportioned rooms, large wide chimneys, elegant stone fire surrounds & stone paved floors. The stone mullioned windows had rectangular leaded lights & the main entrance had a well moulded stone head. Demolished 1959.{1}
