Full Description

There are 3 mounds within a roughly circular ditch at Bitchfield. Period uncertain. Cox mentions an earthwork known as Camp Field. Camp House & Camp Lane SK9926 {1}{2}{3} Complex of 3 mounds contained by slight bank with accompanying inner ditch. Situated on NW facing slope with good drainage & adjacent water. Small occupation site. Lincoln Mus report C16 pottery. Published survey 25' revised {1}
