A 17th-18th century stone house. Published survey of moat revised. {1}{2}{3}{4}
The moat may be part of the remains of the medieval settlement of Old Somerby (see 35168). {5}
The Manor House is a Grade II listed farm house, which possibly dates from the 16th century. It underwent alterations in the 17th, 18th and 19th century and was built of coursed rubble limestone with ashlar quoins and dressings. {6}
Manor Farm (Manor House), Old Somerby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Row with additional detached elements. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {7}
