Full Description
Sherds of post-medieval pottery and demolished structures, found at the Round Hills earthwork site, to the north-west of Ingoldsby. The assemblage was recovered after deep ploughing within the earthwork, and included sherds of 16th century and later glazed wares. Spreads of stone rubble and stone wall foundations were noted in the centre and north-east corners of the eathwork, all associated with 17th and 18th century occupation debris, indicating later re-use of the site. {1}{2}
