Hanby Grange is perhaps the Little Lavington Grange mentioned temp Rich I The abbot of Vaudey granted a lease of the grange to Sir John Jussey (b 1465). In 1534 Vaudey held lands in Lavington cum Hambeke. {1}{2}{3}{4}
