Full Description
The field north of the church is called Lordship Close and contains traces of a former moated residence. Earthworks are visible on aerial photographs. {2}{3}
These earthworks constitute field roads and minor crofts. There is no evidence of a moat and no steadings were noted. {1}
Stamford ware pottery was found on this site in 1981 and 1982. {5}
