LIMESTONE COFFIN WITH LEAD LINING AND LID CONTAINING A SKELETON WAS FOUND BY WORKMEN IN 1967 BUT WAS BROKEN UP. CONSIDERED TO BE ROMAN FROM ITS SQUARE HEAD AND SEMI-CIRCULAR FOOT. ROMAN BRITISH POTTERY WAS FOUND LATER ALONG A PIPELINE. {1}{2}{3}
