IN 1746 WHEN GRAVEL WAS BEING DUG AT POSTWITHAM A SERIES OF BURIALS WITH GRAVE GOODS WAS DISCOVERED (SK 93 19). REPORTS SUGGEST POTTERY AND A JAVELIN WERE FOUND ASSOCIATED WITH ONE BURIAL AND THESE WERE ROMAN IN DATE. {1}{2}{3}
