Full Description
The remains of medieval activity was noted in this location in 1975, during groundworks for residential development at 1-2 High Street. Much dressed stone associated with sherds of medieval Bourne ware pottery were seen approximately 20ft back from the road. A small rubbish pit containing pig and cattle bones and further medieval Bourne ware sherds was also noted. {1}{2}
