Full Description

Cropmarks of enclosures north of Braceborough, visible as shadow marks on RAF aerial photographs. The area was perambulated in 1965, with the exception of the portion south-west of the ditch at TF 0780 1404, which was under standing corn. No features or finds could be discerned on the ground. {1}{2}{3} Cropmarks of a probable prehistoric or Roman settlement, to the north of Braceborough. The cropmarks include a number of ditched enclosures and trackways, some of which seem to overlap, suggesting a number of possible different phases of occupation activity. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {4}
