Full Description

33583 Remains of several adult skeletons were found in drainage works at the Rectory here in 1962; they were about 500 years old. Information from L. Tebbutt, Stamford Library. {1}{2} Correspondence in the parish file states 'I was recently notified of skeletons at Braceboro' where trenching was going on by the Old Rectory. I found and got out about 3 of them and have sent the bones to the Dept of Anthropology'. {3}
