Cropmarks on aerial photographs probably indicating a settlement, show an irregularly rounded enclosure enclosing a circle, at TF083075, beside the river. There is another circle just to the north-east, further north a rounded enclosure with irregular ditches to the east of which, at TF082077, is a pit alignment 400 feet long. {1}{2}{3}{4} The area, centred at TF082076, is under crop.
