'String of beads' or 'clothesline' enclosures of unknown date, visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in Pointon and Sempringham. The cropmarks take the form of small subsquare enclosures butted onto man-made watercourses, which drain the small valley streams flowing from the slightly undulating ground to the west of the Fens.
