PRN 33248 BARBED AND TANGED FLINT ARROWHEAD AND A BLADE SCRAPER FOUND ON THE DISUSED RAILWAY LINE. {1}{2} A SMALL PREHISTORIC FLINT SCRAPER WAS RECOVERED DURING A WATCHING BRIEF ON LAND ADJACENT TO ANCASTER ROAD. IT MAY HAVE BEEN PRESENT ON THE SITE DUE TO THE IMPORTATION OF MATERIAL FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE C19 RAILWAY LINE. HOWEVER, THE TYPE OF FINDS RECOVERED IS TO BE EXPECTED IN THE VICINITY OF BOURNE. {4}{5}
