Full Description

A 17th century building, once the home of Gen Fynne, aide de campe to Cromwell. The building is predominantly early 17th century in date but it possibly has a little earlier material and some later additions. {1}{2} Manor house of c.1630, with alterations in the late 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Built of oursed limestone rubble, with limestone ashlar. Collyweston tiled roofs with stone coped gables with finials. Single ridge and 2 projecting lateral stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys and garret, 5 bay south front with left hand bay projecting far forward.
