Full Description

The Church of St Andrew has features from the Early English, Decorated and Perpendicular styles. It was much restored in 1900. The font is probably Norman. {1}{2}{3} Stained glass in this church dates to the 15th century. {4} Parish church dating from the late 12th century, with alterations in the early 13th century, c.1300, and 15th century. The building was restored during the 19th century. Built of coursed ironstone rubble, limestone ashlar, with some render. Plain tile roofs with some decorative red ridge tiles and stone coped gables with cross finials. West tower of c.1300 with ironstone and limestone banding, and spire. Nave with north and south aisles and south porch, chancel with north chapel.
