Full Description
AP SHOWS A RECTILINEAR SETTLEMENT. A SCATTER OF ROMAN POTTERY INCLUDING GREYWARE, CREAMWARE, NENE VALLEY WARE, COLOUR-COATED WARE AND SHELLY WARE. ALSO A LEATHER UPPER FROM ONE SIDE OF A SHOE, POSSIBLY ROMAN. SEE PRN 32949 FOR FLINT ARTEFACTS. {1}{2} AT TF126277 3 PIECES OF QUERN, AND ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY FOUND IN 1976 BY SLAU. POTTERY NOW IN LINCOLN MUSEUM. {3}
