Full Description
Series of small clustered enclosures, ditches, and field systems, east of Horling. The site is visible as cropmarks in aerial photographs {1} and in Google Earth imagery from September 2018 {2}.
The cropmarks comprise two areas of contiguous systems of enclosures oriented approximately northeast to southwest. The enclosures are sub-circular and sub-rectangular, and irregular in size and shape. The form is broadly suggestive of a prehistoric date, possibly Bronze Age or Iron Age, although no archaeological work has taken place and no finds have been reported to the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
