Full Description

32935 In 1965 neck & shoulders of Lambeth (late C17) jug in grey salt-glazed stoneware & part of face roundel of Bellarmine jug found on site of Hall. {1} A gentleman found what he described as 'mule shoes' here. There was also at one time a large pit there from which brash (small limestone) was dug to maintain the roads, probably dating to the first half of the twentieth century. The information was given to Hilary Healey in the early 1990s. {2}
