The cropmarks that are visible on aerial photographs are probably natural frost cracks, but, just possibly, are irregular Roman fields associated with the settlement site to the south. {1}{2}{3} Nothing of interest was seen or found in this arable area by the OS Field Inspector in 1965. {1}
