Full Description
Quantity of Medieval pottery from the centre of the village either side of Hall Lane - presumably former house sites. Included Stamford ware, Bourne wares & one sherd of blue-grey Pingsdorf ware. {1} Saxo-Norman and C14-15 pottery. 1 sherd of Pingsdorf blue grey. SMV site between church and present Hall. Stone....This site was very uneven before ploughing a few years ago.
