Full Description

32920 The settlement of East Graby (West Graby is in Aslackby parish) is listed by St Joseph. Traces of desertation, including tofts and crofts, trackways and hollow ways, and ridge and furrow field systems, are visible on aerial photographs. Graby, without division into East and West is an extant hamlet. {1}{3}{4} East Graby is mentioned in the Domesday Book, and land was owned there by the Archbishop of York. There was a minimum population of approximately 6 people. {2} Three families were recorded as living there in 1563. {6}
