Full Description

Stone female head ploughed up about1961 to the south of St Andrew's Church in this parish a short distance north of Marse Dyke (stone in coarse limestone). Presented to Lincoln Museum. Peter Binnall suggests mid C16 from head dress (whimple). The Barber Institute of Fine Arts - Birmingham suggests it may be a C13 label stop (this is much more likely). {1}
