TF03450743: Stamford ware pottery reported in 1956.{1} TF033075: Early & late Stamford ware incl wasters found in subsoil during extensions of playing fields.{1} TF033075 Med pottery kiln Stamford School. {1} TF03270735: A C13 updraught type kiln for firing developed Stamford Ware discovered by workmen digging foundations for additions to school,1963 Mr Simpson indicated site at TF033600739 vast quantity of material held by school mus. {3} Probable Med kiln found at school 1874 Mr Simpson indicated approx site at TF03260735. {4}{5}
