Full Description
A two storey shop, part timber-framed with 2.5 bays of a late 12th century arcade on the west wall. During January 1980 the shop floor was lowered 2 feet and a 3 foot trench dug from the shop frontage to rear of property. Thirty-eight sherds of Saxo-Norman pottery were recovered from the shop area. The trench to the rear contained 13th century wares. {1}
