A POLISHED STONE AXE, IN POOR CONDITION, OF GROUP V1 (GREAT LANDALE) ORIGIN, AND DATED TO c2500. FOUND IN A FIELD OFF CASTERTON ROAD, SIDNEY FARM IN SPOIL FROM EXCAVATION FOR NEW HOUSING. LENGTH 7.2CM, WIDTH (MAX) 4- 7CM. {1}
