Full Description
Hoard of 33 gold coins found 1847 while excavating near Old Rectory House for bridge for Syston & Peterboro' Railway. Coins, nobles, half nobles & sovereigns of Henry VI;VII;VIII; Eliz I; & James I in oak box. Went to collection of Mr H Boar, Stamford. {1}{2}
