Full Description
Site not known for certain. A late Medieval reference to stalls between churches of St Michael's & St Andrew's. But site seems to have been lost by 1610 (Speed). There are a number of early references which indicate a site in area of E end of Broad St. Stukeley tried to locate it in Broad St or Star Lane. In existence by third quarter of C12. Ceased to exist as parish church 1546. Amalgamated 1556 with St Michael. Material to repair that church or the town bridges. Stukeley refers to 'one of the doors still remaining & in situ. this altered by narrowing to make a house door of'.{1}
