Full Description
Microliths (Mesolithic or possibly upper Palaeolithic), Neolithic and Bronze Age flints found in quantity by Haws and now in Grantham Museum. {1}
Extract from Grantham Archaeological Society News Sheet, January 1967: "Fieldwalking was carried out by some of our members just before Christmas. The work was concentrated on a large ploughed field south of Barrowby from which numerous worked flints had been collected over quite some years by the farmer and his men. Some of these flints of Neolithic and Bronze Age period have since found their way to Lincoln, Grantham and Leicester Museums." {2}
