A spring named as 'Holy Well' is depicted in this location on the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map. {1}
The spring is said to have been the source of the water supply for Belvoir Castle. It lies within Belvoir Castle Park, which has been designated as a Registered Park (see PRN 37143). {2}{3}
