Full Description

An urn containing cremated bones, together with coins of Gallienus and Claudius Gothicus (253 - 270 AD) was found at Harlaxton in c.1740. The exact findspot is unknown. {1}{2}{3} Coins of other emperors were reportedly found in the hoard, along with a seal inscribed 'SIGILLUM COMITATUS CANTABUDIPAE'. {4}{5}
