Full Description
A Romano-British figure was found 'near Grantham', although the exact findspot is unknown. The find was reported to the City and County Museum in 1979, where it was thought to be a representation of Venus, or a similar native equivalent. The bust was made of bronze, and possibly functioned as a mount of some kind. {1}{2}{3}{4}
