Full Description

A pot of old silver coins was found during digging at Stukeley's garden in Grantham. Stukeley's house and garden stood at the southern end of Castlegate, at about SK 9156 3573. {1}{2}{3}{4} The coins were recorded as being found on the 7th October, 1726. The coins may have been of Roman date, though this cannot be confirmed. {5}
