Summary

Roman pottery found east of the Manor House, Great Gonerby

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Roman pottery from the upper layers of excavations of a medieval site. It was suggested that these may have been brought from elsewhere with the construction material for the medieval site. This seems unlikely and they are probably residual sherds from the vicinity. {1}{2}
