Summary

Roman pottery found east of the Manor House, Great Gonerby.

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

Full Description

Roman pottery recovered from the upper layers of excavations of a Medieval site (see MLI30458). It was suggested that these may have been brought from elsewhere with the construction material for the Medieval farmstead. This seems unlikely and they are probably residual sherds from the vicinity. {1}{2}
