AT LEAST 5 VERY FRAGMENTARY IRON KNIVES AND PART OF A SPEARHEAD ARE IN GRANTHAM MUSEUM. IT IS RECORDED THAT THEY WERE FOUND IN THE RECTORY GARDEN AT BELTON AND LOANED BY THE REV. W P CUST. (DATE OF 1903 ON THE BOX. LETTER IN GRANTHAM MUSEUM FILES DATED 1911.) FOUND IN 1883 - IT IS SUGGESTED THAT THEY COME FROM AN ANGLO-SAXON INHUMATION CEMETERY. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}~
