Full Description

Norman to late Perpendicular. Restored 1873 & 1889.{1}{2}{3} The Church of St Wilfrid is a Grade I Listed Parish Church. It was built of coursed limestone and ironstone rubble in the 11th century with 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century alterations. The building has a west tower, nave, chancel, north aisle and south porch. The 13th century west tower is three storeys high with lancet windows.
