Full Description
In the vestry is a fragment, probably the arm of a Saxon Cross. {1}
This is an architectural fragment and not part of a cross. It dates to the 10th century and is part of an impost or string-course almost certainly associated with the surviving Anglo-Saxon tower. It is a rare surviving architectural feature. {2}
