Full Description

A human skeleton was found while levelling in a stockyard at the eastern end of Dry Doddington. The skeleton was of a male individual, measuring 5ft 10" in height, and was recovered from the site of a formerly slight mound. Sherds of medieval pottery were found in the deposit just above the feet. The finds are now in the City and County Museum accession number. {1}{2}
