PRN 23618 AT PODE HOLE, TWO MILES WEST OF SPALDING, IS THE FORMER PUMPING STATION AND BOILER HOUSE, WITH A RAINWATER HEAD DATED 1825. {1} Red brick building with a slate roof. Good example of early steam engine, original pumping engine by Boulton and Watt.
