Full Description
A hexagonal, type 22 concrete pillbox. It has an internal ledge and splayed gunslits giving onto corresponding buttresses outside. The is no entrance guard in evidence. It was presumably built as part of a defensive system around Spalding, although it is not known whether it formed part of a more extensive stop line. The pillbox stands in a direct north to south line with 2 other nearby pillboxes, all with different construction details. {1}{2}{3}
