Full Description

Moated site of Barrington. {1}{2}{3} The top of a 12th to 13th century Grimston ware jug was found in 1973, at TF 351 218. The vessel was in a grey sandy ware with very dark olive to black glaze. {4}{5}{6} Hilary Healey now believes that this is not the location of the moated site previously identified. {7}{8}
